The Who are possibly one of the biggest rock bands within the UK today!
They were formed in 1964 and are still performing live concerts as well as some of the biggest festivals taking place this summer!

The band, initially was made up of five members, but only two remain in the band today, Pete Townsend, Roger Daltery. John Entwistle is deceased as is Keith Moon, and Kenney Jones left the band in 1983, but has returned on two occasions in 1985 and 1988.
With Townsend and Daltery still performing for the Who, they in 2006 returned to the studio to record a new album called Endless wire in 2006.

The band claim to be Rock and roll, but also fall under Rhythm and Blues as well as Hard Rock genres. The Who are an exceptional band who have achieved great heights in their careers, and have been rumoured to be headlining Glastonbury along side The Killers and Razorlight as well as all the leading acts throughout the world!

The Who have quite an extensive list of concerts which will be taking place this year! The first of which was at the Royal Albert Hall in London and it is a charity event – for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Other locations included, Birmingham, Sheffield, Newcastle, Hull, Swansea as well as Southampton, Wembley arena as, you can still find tickets to their events in Ireland as well as throughout Europe.
