T in the park is the biggest music festival in Scotland.

It has been in operation since 1994 and takes place at a unused airfield in Balado near Kinross.
The concert has one main sponsor – Tennents and this is where it gets its name from!

The 2007 festival was held over three days - 6th, 7th and 8th July with tickets selling out in record fast time!

The festival was hosted by a list of excellent bands at the weekend festival, the headline acts on the main stage on Friday 6th July were, Artic Monkeys, Bloc Party, The Coral and Lily Allen.

On Saturday 7th July the main stage was home to, The Killers, Razorlight Arcade Fire, James and James Morrison.

Sunday saw the arrival of Snow Patrol, Scissor Sisters, Kings of Leon, The Fratellis, Paolo Nutini as well as the Goo Goo Dolls all on the Main stage.

There are a number of stages, including the Radio 1 NME stage, which hosted the Kooks, My Chemical Romance, as well as Mika and The Gossip, the King Tut's tent saw the View and Editors among others.
The Pet sounds arena was home to the Saw Doctors, Damien Rice and Amy Winehouse.
There was also the Slam tent which houses Booka Shade and many others.
