Stereophonics are frequently named as one of Wales' finest exports, and this statement certainly holds true today.
First signed in 1996 by Branson's V2 label, it wasn't long before the band began to reap countless amounts of awards and critical acclaim.
Just two years later, they scooped the Brit Award for Best New Group, and proceeded to tour the world in 1998 and 1999.
Stereophonics have frequently taken breaks – once after the recording of their 3rd album, and later after one of their biggest tours in 2003-2004.
However, they always return with a vengeance, continously pushing the boundaries of modern music and performing live in their unique style: with pizzaz and passion.
Apart from their award-winning debut album, the band also reached high levels of success with “Language. Sex. Violence. Other?”
“Just Enough Education to Perform” brought us classic singles such as Handbags and the Gladrags, which is now known as the theme tune to the popular sitcom The Office, whilst 'Mama Told Me Not to Come', performed with Tom Jones in 2000 was a huge hit at the time.
