The Rolling Stones are a Rock and Roll band from London, they also fall under Rhythm and blues as well as country and Reggae.
The band was first formed in 1962 and are still touring!

There are four member in the band, most famous are Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, the other two members are Ron Wood and Charlie Watts.

Mick Jagger, the lead singer, has campaigned continuously over many years to combat world poverty and improve the standard of living for third world countries.
He was one of the lead organisers of the Live Aid concert which took place in July 1985, but will not be able to preform at this years concert because of his commitments to his tour.

The band have enjoyed huge success over the years with 29 albums and have received 37 top 10 hits.
They have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame and in 2004 Rolling Stone Magazine ranked them as the fourth greatest artist of all time!

It was in March 2007 when the band released information of its most recent tour of Europe, which is called “Bigger Bang 2007”.
The band have arranged three UK dates, all of which will be in the O2 Arena in London. The dates for these concerts are the 21st 23rd and 26th of August.
