George Roger Waters has enjoyed a very successful career with Pink Floyd, as their leading song writer and bass player as well as one of their vocalists. He was born on September 6th 1943 in Surrey.

Since he left the band he has enjoyed a successful solo career with three studio albums and staging one of the biggest concerts ever – the Wall concert in Berlin in 1990.

In 2005 he released a opera and also joined the rest of the members of Pink Floyd on stage at the Live 8 concert in London. He was with Pink Floyd from 1965 until 1985 and was responsible for a number of the great hits they achieved. His solo career however, allowed him to create a number of excellent hits, which he toured with all over the world.

He is now returning to the UK for a number of live concerts. These concerts are taking place in a range of locations throughout the UK, some of which include Birmingham, London, Manchester and more!
