Razorlight are a group formed in 2002 and are half English half Swedish Indi pop band.
It was Johnny Borrell who formed the band, he is currently the front man and lead song writer for them, the other members are, Bjirn Agren, Carl Dalemo and Andy Burrows.
The band work closely with The Who, and like The Who performed at the Teenage Cancer trust festival. They have also supported The Who on a number of occasions along with the Zutons.
Razorlights First album “Up all Night” reached number three in the UK charts and their second and current album is proving to be very popular!
Their self titles second album includes the track “America” which reached number one in download tracks before it was officially released in shops, it also reached number one in sales charts once released. They have released two more singles from this album which are “Before I fall to Pieces” and “I can't stop this felling I've got”.
The band claim to write their lyrics on a very personal note and from real life experiences which they have encountered over the years!
Razorlight have a number of excellent concerts lined up for the forth coming months, both in the UK and further afield, this summer they will be headlining the Reading and Leeds festivals which take place over the August Bank holiday weekend this summer!
