The Leeds festival – also know as the Carling festival shares the same weekend as the Reading festival.

These two festivals generally have the same acts, give or take one or two. They take place on the August Bank holiday weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Leeds festival has been around since 1999, and many of the best UK and world acts have been guests on the many stages!

This year the line up for Friday 24th August is headlined by The Smashing Pumpkins and Fall Out Boy and many more, while Saturday 25th August will host Razorlight as well as Kings of Leon and on Sunday the festival will finish with The Red Hot Chilli Peppers as well as Arcade Fire.

All of these band will be performing on the main stage, there are a number of other stages which host a number of excellent acts, including Ash, The View and many more!
