The Arctic Monkeys are a four piece rock band which is from Sheffield in England. They were formed in 2002 and took the country by storm!

The current member of the band are Alex Turner, on lead vocals and guitar, Jamie Cook on guitar, Matt Helders on Drums and backing vocals and also Nick O'Malley on Base guitar.

The band played at T in the Park this summer which was a great success and will be appearing at V festival as well!

When the band broke on to the UK market with “I bet you look good on the dance floor” in 2006 people realised not only the talent these young boys processed but also their unique ability to create such music! They are exceptionally popular among young people within the UK today!

They have received a number of awards since the release of their first single, including New artist of the year from PLUG, Peoples Choice award from Q magazine, Best new band and best British Band from NME awards as well as many many more!
